We just started alerting with a minor crack opening up in our Magnetosphere.
Then came the alert that a Coronal Mass Ejection is about to hit the planet. That was at 8:15 am EDT.
Then came the Geomagnetic Sudden Impulse alert just minutes ago, letting us know the CME is arriving.
That pulse is the compression of our Magnetosphere happening in real time!
Now we are watching the KP levels begin to rise, currently at KP 5, but expect them to go higher.
The energy from this CME will stay with us for the next 24 to 36 hours.
It will cause the Solar Winds to stay high and enhanced.
Pushing in and bringing more energies in from between the Sun and Earth.
Flux Energies are at 176 currently, when they used to be background radiation particles that ranged from 1 to 10!
Expect today to be a big energy day, it already is!
