"You're here because you know something. What you know you can't explain, but you feel it. You've felt it your entire life, that there's something wrong with the world. You don't know what it is, but it's there, like a splinter in your mind, driving you mad. It is this feeling that has brought you to me." Morpheus - Matrix

INNATE KNOWLEDGE OF THE UNKNOWN

This is the state of “Not Knowing”, a period of what you call “being lost”, of being disoriented. It is an Initiation to find a Door. "There is a power unlike any other, force or energy, when we are deeply connected to the way our spiritual instinct communicates with us. It is a guidance.
.
There is a way to Listen to your spiritual instinct... It is to be connected or rooted in an intuitive way in what is a very silent dimension of Being.

There are different ways to be rooted, to be connected—
—"My way or the highway"—so rooted that you are rigid and can't really let anything in.
-- And there is a way that is very fluid and dynamic, where you are rooted but Open.

To get to what is truly unifying, you just let go of understanding from any particular point of view, and you begin to have a living experience of Being, a connection with what in spirituality is called the Unknown.

The Unknown is simpler, more accessible and available than you think... it is just beneath everything you are holding on to.

We hold on to things in direct proportion to the amount of doubt they cover.

As we begin to open up, we begin to experience this potentially wonderful realm of “Not Knowing”… a different kind of curiosity.

The starting ground—even though it may not seem like it—is the willingness to Not Know, or the willingness to be uncertain. As we begin to hold things less firmly, the veils through which we tend to perceive things naturally begin to settle.

If we don’t begin with some visceral sense of Not Knowing, we won’t get very far.

When we open to the mystery of Being, that is always the Door—whether it’s the mystery of who you are, the mystery of life, the mystery of God, or how to live from It.

If you’ve never experienced yourself as a living being as a mystery to yourself, try it. … it’s more liberating than your idea of yourself.

The Unknown is the Doorway, the Gateway to the mystery of Being—because until you have a deeper awakening… the way to Know is to allow yourself to Not Know.

That is the paradox." ~Excerpts from Adyashanti, excerpt from “Innate Knowledge of the Unknown,” November 2, 2019 ~Oakland, CA
