If you not celebrate, then have a great Sunday or holiday
This is true. We have a tradition in Hungary. I just tell the modern version of it.
On Easter Monday, men/boys sprinkle water or cologne or perfume on the woman/girls in their families, relatives and friends. Before watering, they say a short, often funny poem, the last line of which is always a request for permission to sprinkle. The woman gave in the past painted eggs, nowadays chocolate eggs and in the family money in return.
During the short visit the ladies offer for them cakes, salty snacks, soft drinks, and even spirits - pálinka - fire water. By the afternoon, women are already smelly because of the many perfumes, and men often get very drunk by the afternoon about the lot of free drinks.
One of the well known poem:
I was in a green forest,
I saw a blue violet
It wanted to wither away
Is it allowed to sprinkling?

"old" style sprinkling
this original or modern sprinkle tradition is also slowly dying...
Let's just say I don't miss it...but it´s part of my culture and a hungaricum :)
Happy giant rabbit wearing clothes drinking wine holiday to all! Stay strong! May sovereignty and love endure!
