"You're here because you know something. What you know you can't explain, but you feel it. You've felt it your entire life, that there's something wrong with the world. You don't know what it is, but it's there, like a splinter in your mind, driving you mad. It is this feeling that has brought you to me." Morpheus - Matrix

Asian Boss

I would like to introduce you to a youtube channel I like, which is called Asian Boss.
They are on Facebook and Instagram and even Twitter too.

I found it almost a year ago, and watch their content often, mainly that I interested in Asia and curious about peoples from another side of the world what they think and why and sometimes I got an interesting perspective about different things. They look different and their culture is different but under the surface is the same as we. The separation is just an illusion.

So now I decided, I make about this team a blog post because I think they deserve more view and attention about their mission and work. They are a young, enthusiastic team asking people on the streets about different topics and current news. They try to highlight different problems and can be any kind of it like politic, society, idols - celebs, etc. Their videos do not show political affiliation or any kind of judgment, very objective, educational and trying to encourage you to open your eyes to your country or to the world.

Also they have this description on youtube:
"We bring you the most authentic voices and perspectives on the latest news, social issues and cultural trends from Asia.
As a media startup, our mission is to decentralize the current mainstream media and prove that anyone can become a reporter to deliver news and commentary. Through our original and in-depth interviews of real people, we will challenge you - the global youth- to think critically and challenge various cultural and social issues."

I think they are successful make it, this missing from the global/corporate media - the voice of the ordinary people, and this kind of journalists whose soul cannot be bought and try to show the problem in true indeed.
The task of the media would be to control power and spread the truth, but instead, it lies underneath and tosses the sh@t where his master shows and become a tool for their master's propaganda and agendas.
I hope one day the media will spread the truths, become trustworthy, objective and reveal all lies, help fix the problems, build and become fully independent.

While I watch their "short" videos (mostly around 10 minutes but the specific bigger interviews longer) I remember what I learned in journalism and they do a very good job, and like an empath I could feel they love what they do, they are very sensitive and passionate about their different topics and about their videos. They really want to change the "world" (and they do around them), highlight the different problems, gather peoples and try to fix what is broken.

They have the courage to show you that for example in their country have a very big problem with the elder's poverty, some of the elders working for 2$ daily

or they show you the dark side of the K-pop industry

or they bring ex pornstars to talk about their "job" a lady and a man too with 2 sides of the same topic

or the South Korean defector's interview, so much terrible things, children starving to death on the streets, and the world not really know about it

but here all list about these topics - interesting/shocking/no words for it

or the last "comfort women" - this was so shocking/touching interview

or the women trafficking

or a real samurai

etc.

or just they wanna know what the average people's opinion about for example - Kim and Trump summit or the different kind of stereotypes or why they think this or that - you should check out if you are interested.

They make videos in Korea, China, Japan, Philippines, Thailand, India, Indonesia, and Pakistan, sorry if I miss some country, but this is the most. The video's language is mostly English but if not then have a subtitle in english.

It may be interesting for you this channel if you like or want to know more about Asia, interested what people think about different topics on the other side of the world.

I must say I love Stephen´s interviews, I think he makes the hardest/sensitive topics. If you are interested in the team - here a lovely video.

So If you would like please give a chance for this channel, and this is not a sponsored content, I just simply want to share with you guys, and yes, have people out there who make different and beautiful "light work" because we all working for a better future for a better world and era.
