This event has already been named Metapocalypse 2024.

Since I don't hang out on Facebook or Insta much, it didn't affect me personally, but if it had happened on YouTube, I would have noticed it, since I use that platform more for listening to music.

The meme makers went into action and funny pictures flooded the FB news feeds, and that's how I found out what happened. I have collected some funny memes about the case, let's laugh together...or cry that this society has become so addicted to social media.
