The only thing that really exists in the Universe is Light (Energy) at different levels of vibration, that creates a frequency and that frequency determines the characteristics of the energy, whether in wave form or particle. A thought is wave-like energy, a hand is particle-like energy (actually many particles forming a seemingly solid body), the difference is in vibration. By increasing our own vibration as an effect of increased solar activity and the waves of cosmic radiation we have been receiving, the medium becomes more compatible with energy in wave form than particle and that is why it increases the capacity of our brain to capture and translate more subtle frequency waves, like the thoughts of others (telepathy).
That's the magical-wonderful part of being receiving these kinds of incoming energies, the not-so-magical-wonderful is that we can feel dizzy, headache, physically exhausted, excess thirsty and hunger (by losing density and embodying more photons that adhere to electrons in our atoms the physical body seeks to balance by ingesting food), besides tooth pain (it's the most ′′ solid ′′ in our physical body), and occasionally in the bones. Because of the effect of radiation, we can also feel burning in our skin as if we sunk, have chapped lips, skin rashes (skin is the first thing that reacts even though it's not always visible), itching and dryness. 
An interesting phenomenon preceding a Geomagnetic Storm is cardiac chakra activation. Our heart chakra activates before appliances can measure an increase in electromagnetic energy we receive from the Sun because our heartbeat is precisely that electromagnetic power in the form of an electrical impulse. Our heart beats stronger (palpitations), faster (tachycardia, pulse increase), or beats ′′ twice ′′ (extra sistole, ectopic beat, double beat) before, during and immediately after an increase in electromagnetic energy. This may cause us, in addition to heart symptoms, reflux, acidity, feeling of pain or heat in the chest, excess burping, and indigestion (it triggers heat in addition to gas), and sometimes back pain between the shoulder blades because the the expansion of the chakra spin extends in every direction.
