"You're here because you know something. What you know you can't explain, but you feel it. You've felt it your entire life, that there's something wrong with the world. You don't know what it is, but it's there, like a splinter in your mind, driving you mad. It is this feeling that has brought you to me." Morpheus - Matrix

Lorie Ladd - 5 steps to assist in releasing a trauma

Trauma’s are buried deep within our bodies. The beautiful thing about our human evolution is that all trauma will eventually arise for us to heal and move it through our bodies.
Most traumas are recognized through a limiting belief, thought, or behavior that you have experienced many times over in your life.
The limiting belief thought or behavior is pointing you to a trauma.
The more conscious you are of all that you are experiencing the easier it will be to recognize and heal trauma.
And healing trauma is the way into a life filled with freedom, love, peace, joy, abundance, sovereignty and so much more.
We are not here to live with trauma in our bodies. The evolution in our human consciousness will require us to continuously and courageously heal and release all trauma from the body.
It takes courage to feel it all. It takes compassion to see it all and it takes patience to heal it all.
These 5 steps are simply tools to assist you in healing trauma. They have worked for me and perhaps they will work for you. We each have our own way of navigating trauma. Trust you, trust your body and hold compassion for yourself as you evolve.

1) See it: The only way to heal trauma is to see the limiting beliefs, thoughts, behaviors associated with the trauma. You gotta see it to heal it.

2) Name it: In order to clear the trauma through the body you must understand and dissect the belief, thought, behavior; breaking it down to its simplest form. Dive deep into it all.

3) Feel it: All trauma is energy. Any thought, belief, behavior connected to that trauma is energy and will create an emotion. Emotion is energy. All trauma is designed to move through the body. Feeling the emotions moves the thought, belief, behavior, and eventually the trauma through the body. Feel everything and it will move/heal.

4) Know that you are not it: Essential in healing all trauma is to remember that you are not the trauma, beliefs, thoughts, or behaviors. You then become the observer, detached from the trauma and you can allow it to move through you.

5) Call in a new way: Chose a new thought, belief, behavior WHILE you are healing, not before. Do not bypass steps 2-4. Choosing a new way of being, thinking, believing, requires you to feel the way you were in the past in order.
