Since 925 days no M-class solar flare, but today the Sun produced a M1.19 (minor R1 radio blackout) solar flare at 07:24 UTC on the northeast limb and after shortly at 10:46 UTC a second solar flare happened C9.3, almost an M class too. Both not towards the Earth.
