In the past few weeks, I’ve been reminded of something that cuts deep… Too often, humanity would rather dismantle the ones trying to help than find ways to stand beside them.
It’s backwards. It’s tragic. In a time where so few have the courage to stand at the front lines, to take the hits, and to put their whole being into creating positive change… too many are looking for flaws, not solutions. They hunt for chinks in the armor instead of helping to repair it.
Here’s the truth no one wants to admit...Every single person is imperfect. And the ones called to make true change are not exempt. The difference is... they’re willing to stand in the fire anyway. They’re willing to bleed, to be misunderstood, to be judged, to be attacked… because their mission matters more than their comfort.
Passion is messy. It doesn’t always speak in measured tones or perfect words. Sometimes it comes out raw, unfiltered, and even rough around the edges. But that is the price of caring deeply in a world that has gone numb.
If we can’t learn to protect the ones who step forward… If we keep letting ego, jealousy, and petty grievances poison the soil… We will drive away the very people who can light the path forward.
