Tomorrow Pluto moves stationary retrograde at 3°49' Aquarius. It remains drilling down on 3° until July 7th and so will strongly activate any planets or angles you have between 2°-4° of the Fixed signs Taurus, Leo, Scorpio or Aquarius, with a deep desire for fundamental change in your life; or life-changing events may come from the outside to encourage your moving forwards. Pluto remains retrograde until October 14th.
Whenever Pluto moves through a sign, it has a complex process. On the one hand it intensifies the nature of the sign it is moving through whilst at the same time revealing anything that is not for our highest good. This revealing process is very often strongest when it is moving retrograde, as a good phrase to remember for any retrograde planet is 'going back over'. With Aquarius, this is linked to science and technology. Pluto is also the planet of secrets, and is the ruler of the upcoming Full Moon in Scorpio on May 12th.
So Full Moons tend to shine a bright light on things we were unaware of before, and so we could see a process where whatever has not been for the highest good of humanity in science and technology, and has been kept secret, may well start to come to light now. This is especially as Uranus, the planet linked to truth, is conjunct the Sun and opposing the Moon at this Full Moon.
With Uranus so strongly aspecting this Full Moon, we may see a variety of manifestations as well as truth emerging. People (the Moon in mundane astrology) may be feeling more rebellious or revolutionary, we may see more seismic activity (literal, political or financial, as Taurus-Scorpio is also the financial axis), or more electrical disruptions in the form of cut-outs, power outages or cyber attacks. There could be disruptions with aviation. Uranus is the planet linked to electricity and power outages as it is essentially a discontinuous energy, surges of energy, like lightening bolts.
It could take the form of shocks and surprises, and my astrology colleague Kathy Rose has noted that if you cast this Full Moon chart for Washington DC, it falls across the MC/IC axis with Uranus and the Sun conjunct the MC. This suggests some surprise or disruption which will be very publicly visible in the US, possibly linked to leadership or government.
Natural resources are likely to be in the news as well with the Taurus emphasis and I feel that water will be valued to a degree that is unusual over the next two years while Saturn is conjunct Neptune. Water wars (Neptune in Aries) are possible; indeed, India has just suspended the Indus Water Agreement with Pakistan. Over three quarters of Pakistan's water comes from outside its borders, so this may lead to some further confrontation between the two countries.
Emotionally as always with Scorpio energy this Full Moon has the potential to feel intense, so be sure to mindfully decompress. Do breathwork, meditation, candle-gazing, bare feet on the ground, being in nature, anything that will calm your energy. Remember everything in your reality comes from your inner state. If anyone is aggressive or assertive with you, take a breath before you respond.
Scorpio as a sign can give us much strength, as it learns by facing its fears, and grows in that way. So whatever is happening in the outer world, know that you can put your focus elsewhere to keep on creating a much more loving world. We are making extraordinary progress in doing this.
Even when there are extreme disruptive events like the recent blackouts in Europe, know that they are just more evidence of the old systems collapsing. The degree of electrification around the Earth which has never been higher, together with the decreasing magnetic field of the Earth, and high level of solar activity, will test these old systems.
Many incredible innovations are taking place behind the scenes. Just trust that although the 3D world looks chaotic and overwhelming, this is all evidence of what astrology has been anticipating. The collapse of the old to allow something much more loving to be birthed.
