"You're here because you know something. What you know you can't explain, but you feel it. You've felt it your entire life, that there's something wrong with the world. You don't know what it is, but it's there, like a splinter in your mind, driving you mad. It is this feeling that has brought you to me." Morpheus - Matrix

For All Mankind (2019) new sci-fi drama series

I would like to introduce a new series, what I started to watch not a while ago and may you interested in it. If you follow my blog quite a while, you know I like and interested in about space-spacetravel-aliens, etc. that´s why also my blog name is - beyond the veil. I very much support everything that breaks the veil and brings us to the open space and be part of the pulsating life in the Universe. I feel like a fish in a fish tank who dreaming about the Ocean.
But back to the series...we know a lot of parallel universe and timelines exist next to ours - every decision creates a different timeline, so therefore, the basic idea of this series should not be rejected. So in this series, we are in a different alternate timeline or parallel world in the 1960´s years of the big Space Race and here a Russian cosmonaut - Alexei Leonov - who first stepped on the Moon and won the Race. The Americans that they save their face, launched the Apollo 11 which one successfully landed on the Moon and returned back. Later Nixon American President wants to be the first who builds a Moonbase while the Russians send the first Woman to the Moon...and the space race continues.
This is not an action series, more a drama sci-fi category, but not a boring one, you stay curious and become exciting while the series go ahead and provides insight about the Nasa, astronauts and their families, the politician atmosphere and you know more about that era - the American dream.
This is an Apple original series, the director Ronald D. Moore (Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica) and this season contains 10 episodes.

If you want a break away from this reality for 1 hour - I recommend.
