"You're here because you know something. What you know you can't explain, but you feel it. You've felt it your entire life, that there's something wrong with the world. You don't know what it is, but it's there, like a splinter in your mind, driving you mad. It is this feeling that has brought you to me." Morpheus - Matrix

The Third Eye Chakra

3rd eye chakra symbol
The third eye chakra is the 6th chakra, called Ajna which means ' to perceive, to command'. Located on the forehead, between the eyebrows, slightly above at the bridge of your nose. The Third eye chakra is associated to the pineal gland in charge of regulating biorhythms, including sleep and wake time, brain, neurological system, eyes, ears, pituitary gland.

The gift of this chakra is seeing - both inner and outer worlds, this is your center of intuition - 6th sense. Ajna leads you to an inner knowledge that will guide you if you let it.

An open sixth chakra can enable clairvoyance, telepathy, lucid dreaming, expanded imagination, visualization and not only see, but also understand.

3rd eye - 6th sense
When your Third Eye chakra is blocked you will probably have difficulty in understanding the spiritual side of the world and the connection between your inner and outer reality. Also produce physical symptoms like - lack of emphaty, hallucinations, anciety, mental fog, paranoia, migrains that happen in the forehead or temples, insomnia, sinus issues, depression, nightmares, brain cysts, tumors, strokes, blindness.

When your Ajna is overactive overindulging in a fantasy world while losing touch with reality.

The third eye chakra is a main point for external life energy (prana, chi) to enter and be distributed to the other chakras. It is also a key to ongoing spiritual development.
Keeping it as clear and balanced as possible is very important.

What is the Chakra?

Chakra is center of the energy. The name is originating from Sanskrit, it literally means “wheel” by association with its function as a vortex of spinning energy interacting with various physiological and neurological systems in the body.

The Chakras are energy centers, within the human body that help to regulate all its processes, from organ function to to the immune system and emotions. We have 7 Chakras in our body from the base of your spine to the crown of your head. Each chakra has its own vibrational frequency, specific chakra color, and specific functions. The lower chakras are associated with fundamental emotions and needs, for the energy here vibrates at a lower frequency and is therefore denser in nature. The finer energies of the upper chakras corresponds to our higher mental and spiritual aspirations and faculties. The openness and flow of energy through our chakras determines our state of health and balance.

Blocked energy in our seven chakras can often lead to illness, so it's important to understand what each chakra represents and what we can do to keep this energy flowing freely. You can do this, with yoga, specific meditations, mantras, solfeggio frequencies, affirmations.
