The trick is to relax into what you do not enjoy, not resist it.
As we try to flush what we do not resonate with out of our bodies, many try to force it away or cut ties with it. This creates separation and resistance. Separation creates lack of flow and ends up as stagnant energy that has no vital movement.
Resistance creates a field of dense energy that can be used as an anchor into whatever is being "resisted". Think along the lines of pushing over a tree compared to trying to push over an ocean wave. The tree resists. The wave does not.
The next time you feel anxiety, fear, shame, sadness, anger or any emotion that does not "feel good", do not try to run from it. Instead, allow yourself to recognize it is OK to be uncomfortable and you want to watch what this emotion/energy does inside of your body. Sit with it. Feel deeply.
Come to the conclusion of whether or not it feels good and if you do or do not want to keep it in your body. Do not try to think about the story attached to the feeling. Sit with it and ask yourself truly, "Does this feel good? Do I want this to stay here?"
If no, stop trying to run from how it hurts and sink into it. Feel the pain of the emotion and when you are ready, fully relax on your exhale and allow that pain to drain out of you almost as if you are softening everything around it that is allowing it to stay stuck inside of you.
Put a smile on your face and inhale the sensations that do feel good into the body, giving you a replacement for what you are relaxing out of you on the exhale.
Your body is a quantum computer that speaks in time, emotion, energy, movement and imagery, not spoken words.
Go into the space where programming is possible. Relax your way into finding who you are and who you wish to be.
Allow your mind to release the control, finding pure, honest sensation. "Speak" on this level.
